I over did it. Bah! My throat is tender with swollen glands. Eyes are blood shot, I'm bone weary.

We finally got some heat and things are blooming like mad. The grasses are growing and the trees are flowering. Fortunately it's stopped raining long enough for my feet to dry out! Schmolly we are wet.

Over the past couple of weeks I have tried to familiarise myself my limits. I was busy pouting watching others rocket ahead in their progress but never thought to test my limits. I guess I'm lacking some drive or something. It's remarkably better on dex but unfamiliar territory regardless. Anyway I thought I was managing quite well but got caught having to work pretty hard on Sunday when I had already run myself down with big work loads on Friday night and a very intense stint of yard work on Saturday.

Instead of my half hour that I had done most of the spring to ease into the routine, I'm able to sustain much much longer and more intense work-outs now. Friday night I had my lungs opened up well for an hour at least. I only took in one involuntary mosquito which I thought was remarkable.

Given that the allergies are showing up now that I'm weak I'll have to play it carefully to both recover and not aggravate the situation. I can't stay still but I've been here before and it's difficult to get around the fatigue the allergies bring on and yet continue to work without making myself sick.

I'm taking the time this morning to go and talk to a friend who has been practising yoga for several months. She wouldn't let me join her early for a session together though. She's a bit freaked out that I'm initiating social contact. She usually does all the phoning and initiation. The times they are a changing.

Devotion frees. Ian.
