Anyone else interested in meeting other ADHDers and doesn't have any existing groups nearby? Although I am getting help from the NHS, I'm still I'm not able to meet with anyone regularly who specialises in or has experience with adult ADHD. I feel quite alone with it really. I'm in Kent, quite close to southern Essex, how about everyone else?

Here are maps showing known groups, some are defunct or not for adult ADHDers though: http://www.addiss.co.uk/ukgroups.htm

I have recently been looking for support groups in my area (I live in Staffordshire, but wouldn't mind going to other areas for support, depending on distance) but all I can seem to find it support groups for parents/carers.

If anyone else knows of a support group could you let me know?

Thanks :)

Yeah Im up for meeting, I think there needs to be a UK Support forum on here, I bet theres loads of people looking for support out there! Im in the West Midlands, not scared about travelling though if we can get something sweet organised. It would be cool to meet some new people, and I think it would be extremely benefical for us all if we could get something going. If we're the only people who understand each other (we being people with AD(H)D), then surely we'll be the best at helping each other? Theres some sound people on here as well, judging from what Ive read so far. I need to log in here everytime I turn the computer on instead of facebook, at least then my time wouldnt be wasted!
