I wanted to change my Avatar so I went to Edit Avatar..... I didn't see were to change it so I clicked on no Avatar, the one I had is gone and I can't add a new one. HELPPPPPPPPPP...... :o

1. Click on User CP (at top of page)
2. Click on Edit Avatar
3. Click on Use Custom Avatar
4. Either enter the URL of the Avatar you wish to use or click the Browse button to the right, and find the avatar you want to load, where you have it stored on your computer.

Let me know if you're still having problems.

There is no choice of "custom avatar", there used to be but now it is gone.

The Avatar option has been turned back on again. We have a lot of new whistles & bells! Working on getting the new switches flipped in the right position. :)

Weird, Big..... Yestersday none of this was there, there was no way to change anything just the box that had the no Avatar ! I just went to User CP and now it's there......

Yep, and no, you're not hallucinating...lol We had to tweak a few settings after the move over to the new board format :D

um - sorry to bother y'all - but my avatar disappeared somewhere between postings, and while trying tu upload a new one I get:

"There has been an error in the upload. Please ensure that the file has been correctly selected and that the upload has taken place successfully."

I have tried 2 different ones and get the same message. What am I doing wrong?

never mind - after posting this I see that the avatar is there in the left corner where it is supposed to be..... sheesh.

Um - now it disappears sometimes after I quick post and then i have to go to user cp and reload it. what's up with that?

Well I have absolutely no idea how to find one, save one from somewhere, look for one, anything. If anyone could give me detailed info on where you get them that would be great. Big, I did read your instructions from earlier but I don't have one saved anywhere and I don't know how to get one. :( I want a pretty thing like you guys have!!!
