How many do biofeedback to help with stress and other things in their lives???
I love to do biofeedback..it brings me inner peace and has made a new person out of me. :D
BTW..Biofeedback is what a therapist told me about...it's a relaxation meditative state.

I've actually heard it works for ADD. I'd be interested to find out:)
Misclee,
It works wonders for my ADD. I'm able to focus, and if something is giving me problems I do the biofeedback and then tackle it again and I usually resovle it.
After I get a few more responses I will provide some links on it..and also post my technique that I use.
In the mean time..look under ptsd. I posted my technique there.

I have done biofeedback but do not do it anymore. I do meditate from time to time, using centerpointe tapes or using a simple meditation technique. ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN HELPFUL.

This is something I plan to try when I have the funds.

oooooooooooh, that seems cool. Thanks for the link. Could I borrow 160 dollars or so?
I've heard of this through my psychologist.
It's something that interests me A LOT, however apparently it's very tricky to get the hang of (partly due to poor documentation) and since i'm not the best at getting the hang of things anyway, I don't really like the idea of paying £400 for something I might not even be able to use :(

I bought a sound/light machine. I couldn't afford a traditional biofeedback machine. I combine this with Brain Sound Studio and make a binaural soundtrack to coincide with the frequency of the flashing lights. I keep it in beta frequency. I personally have noticed a large increase in the clarity of my thoughts and memory. I have also experienced a marked decrease in my anxiety/depression. I hope this helps.

Hey Spirit!
How's things?
I sometimes do the meditation thing when conditions permit. Unfortunately, when the need hits - there's usually total chaos going on and I cannot risk the liability to zone out. Since you know what I do for a living you know what I mean!
Best to the family.
