Ever since I can remember I've felt achy & sore some days all year around. & I hated winter, bcause I get so cold & feel lousy when the weather gets damp & dreary.
I've talked to a few people about this, but no one really had any ideas that totally helped my aching cold body. But taking Ritalin I havn't had the achy/sore feeling that I've lived with for decades. So maybe I won't have to dread winter so much this year..Well Im hoping!

Anybody else know what Im talking about? Is this an ADD symptom, bcuas if it is nobody seems to know that much about this sensitivity to cold, damp & excessive heat.

I read in a women's ADHD magazine a few years ago that Ritalin does help with fibromyalgia symptoms. I think if you look it up on the web, you will find it....

There is a link between ADD and fibromyalgia, along with several other conditions (including depression, allergies, "brain fog," and interstitial cystitis). Some people do get relief from fibro symptoms when they take ADD meds. Both fibromyalgia patients and those with ADD have been shown to have abnormal sleep cycles, too.

Thanx for the info. I've never heard there was a connection. I think alot of people I told thought the symptoms were all in my head, even the councilor who told me I NEEDED to be evaluated for Add.
Yesterday I was feeling fine & by the evening I felt tired & I had joint pain. I spent the rest of the evening in bed, but felt better when I got up.
Interesting. I do want to learn more:)
