Hey All,

I usually use flash cards to remember things for tests and such though it takes me an extremely long time to remember these flash cards, most of the time I have to spend the entire day memorizing flash cards and end up going to bed late. Any other methods of studying or memorization ideas?

Mnemonic devices are really helpful for me. It's easy if there are similar words or if I can relate it to something. Like the German word for boy is Yunge. Yunge sounds like young. And the word for girl is Madchen, like Madeline (the books about a little girl). You can't just look at something over and over and expect to learn it. You have to make connections. It's got to be the first thing you can thing of to connect the two because that's probably what's going to pop into your head every time you look at it.
