i like heavy metal and i very little but do listen to celtic and enjoy it.
now i have to suffur sometimes and listen to country on the bus but it dont count if i dont enjoy it.

If your going to classify rock the way you did you missed out on ALOT of bigger catagories than above. Progressive Rock (Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, etc.), Hard Rock (much of Metallica's music and similair), Grunge Rock (Nirvana), Punk Rock (the Ramones, Sex Pistols, The Clash). I think it should say "classic rock" and "modern rock" and "punk rock" thats all you really need. Anyways as you can probably tell I love rock, lol, mainly classic rock but some modern rock is cool, and alil punk.

I'll listen to pretty much anything. I guess emo or indie if you wanna call it that is my favourite.

I listen to a lot of things, as well. I find that music has a drastic effect on what kind of mood I'm in. It can be a blessing, as well as a curse. But, my life would be meaningless without it. ;)

Naw, harder rocks generally considered metal

If I listen to anything progressive, it normally falls under metal as opposed to rock.

And punk is on there

Although I did miss grunge, progressive melo-death (gothenburg) and post punk off =/

...dont mind me i have issues..but dont we all! :DYeah, I am trying to teach myself guitar, but I tend to just doodle around rather than learn something. But I've been doing that for about a year now and I am way better than I was before. I just need to learn chords which I don't have the motivation to teach myself. I can solo all day long and put together a song, but I need to learn chords.

i listen to rock. mainly grunge (except hole, i hate courtney love). but i do like some others like rage against the machine, something corporate, nine inch nails, blink-182, the clash, buzzcocks, jimi hendrix, sex pistols, foo fighters, the white stripes, the darkness, guns n roses, velvet revolver and some more stuff (my avatar will tell u who my all-time favorie band is)

I prefer classic rock like The Doors and Lynard Skynard but can put up with most kinds. I really despise modern hip-hop for two reasons, first off most of the music(not all) are a repeated beat and like 2 or 3 different sentences repeated over and over. second is that none of the music follows and music patterns,which are sota like rhyme scheme, and i just cant get into it.

i didnt vote because im no longer a teenager when i was it was a lot of metal, the good kind no lame butt rock stuff execpt for the cheese factor ands a little bit of jamband and bebop. but i would thnk that avante gaurd jazz and things with lots of noise/fusion elements would be good for adders because of the constant changes
