RF I don't understand how I can have so much to do, yet I feel really bored.

When I know what's causing me anxiety (medication change. . .) I don't feel so anxious. I still don't like it, though.

Well, thanks to all who gave me good support wishes. I really appreciate it. My day has been pretty lousy, so coming back to that was nice.

On the exam, I know a few little things here and there that I messed up. There are 2 problems (out of 5) that I couldn’t find any kind of answer, so I’m not exactly sure how I did on those. I won’t know where I stand until Tuesday. I’m just hoping there is still hope. I studied so much for this.

I just don’t get it. I nearly have 2 notebooks full of practice problems that I’ve worked for this stuff, and I can do the problems at home so easily relatively speaking. There is just something about having to put answers down on an exam that messes with me to the point that I severely under represent what I know. It bums me out.

I also lost my wallet. On the plus side, I got a refill on meds and almost didn’t catch that I needed to turn in my prescription in time since I was so focused on the exam. I worked on that thing for 4 hours. The rest of the class took 2.5 (I got extra time/a room by myself). At some point in the exam I didn’t really exist anymore in a conscious aspect… I was so focused on the exam. When time was finally up, I came to the realization that I desperately needed to use the restroom… woops. I actually had tears building up from the relief/pain my bladder was going through.

But anway, thanks again for the support to all who sent kind words. I needed that right now.

Feeling weird today. Last Thursday a man I know and that my Dad worked closely with for many years in my home city was found murdered; the papers said it was done with an axe and that police had a prime suspect. I used to work with the man too, during my summers home from college. Today the police executed a search warrant at his son's home, so it would now seem that he is their prime suspect. I knew his son growing up and though we are not in contact now we share many of the same friends. The whole thing kinda makes me feel sick to my stomach, like a part of my past or history and part of me is tainted. Feels so strange...

Thank you for making me laugh out loud....:D That's what's been holding me back from trying it.

I actually threw a leaf into my usual morning smoothie and it wasn't noticable. It was an itty bitty leaf compared to the 2 or 3 cups I've seen in many recipes, though. Baby steps. ;)

I found my wallet. It was underneath my camera bag... I don't even remember touching my camera bag prior to finding my wallet. I mean, I didn't even think I had set anything on my bed, because I went into my room a different way than usual (I have two doors into my room), and since it's still close to "exam time" my room basically was blocked off the typical way I usually go into it. Which means that I somehow had to have either moved a ton of crap, or did some amazing aerobatics to get to my bed to set my wallet down and then put my camera bag down on top of it, and I don't remember ever doing anything like that. Lol.

Also, I'm working in lab right now...My reaction needs to get finished. I'm getting impatient.

I did not "pass." It was an assessment for an insurance company. Apparently, you can score too high. So, I don't know what happened with mine. If you don't pass, you don't get an interview.:( This was for a new job.

In these last few days alone, I've learned that I still enjoy my "comfort zone" over any other options I may have.

However, I noticed I'm more inclined to try other options when I'm alone and don't feel any type of pressure to meet someone else's expectations. Once something becomes a "have to", I almost immediately sense the dread. If it's spontaneous and my decision, I excel at it.

After discussing this with my therapist, she encouraged me to find something in each day that I can look forward to and focus on that instead of the "have to" stuff. However, I'm finding that a real challenge since the "have to" stuff outweighs the "want to" stuff BIG time.

Some of my colleagues who just got their PhD are having a heck of a time finding a job. The job market is lame.

I'm going to get an adult add assessment sometime soon. I'm looking forward to this!

I just got back from hanging with my little brother. I think his ADD is as severe as mine is. He's really funny though, and I just try to life at all the stuff he does. He told me that I was his best friend.:)

Twilight series are my fav pleasure books. When I read them I get a very strong sense of the spiritual side of life. The movies are gushy teen romance, the books are about handling things that are inflicted against choice, about choosing when there seems to be more than one right thing, suffering and the values that can be found in all of these things. They really are good.

If I exercise until I sweat, I feel a bit ill and panicky and my vision changes. It's even worse if I don't eat every 2 hours. It can be an inconvenience sometimes, as I used to love to workout without concern.

A nice man stopped at my house to inquire about some flowers in the garden.It's called Queen of the Prairie.She stands about 8-10feet tall with pretty pink fluffy flowers.I wound up digging some up for him to plant in his garden.I love garden people.

So in today's screw everything up theme, I went to a barber shop to get my haircut. I didn't get out of lab early enough to go where I've gone the other two times I've gotten a haircut since I moved. So I read some reviews online and set out on my journey. I pulled into the wrong parking lot (it's a downtown place, so there isn't parking right by the place) and decided to move to a closer parking lot. I finally got to the barber shop, sat down and awaited my turn.

I pulled out my phone to "check in" on google latitude, and it didn't have me in the right location... or at least that's what I initially thought. I ended up in a totally different barber shop than I had originally set out to visit.

It somehow seemed to work out, but that was a rather awkward realization.

I haven't seen my friends in too long. I'm having lunch with one on wednesday. We have a lot to catch up on!

Awww..... that's so sweet. :) Lambs ears are one of my faves. I love growing herbs also. (No, not that kind - ummm - anymore....lol) We grow boxwood basil, red basil, greek oregano, chocolate mint, chives, thyme, etc. Love, love, love plants, flowers, and veggies. :D

Yeah- you know, they make a special shampoo for that. Shaving doesn't help at all (from what I've heard)

ill try to shave my crabs tonight and see if they stop pinching me, or the other people. although i dont see what shaving a crab or putting shampoo on a crab will make it more calm or less pinchy. they dont even have hair!

Today, I saw a couple walking over the street. She looked pregnant (well, she was, period.) and about to hit labour. It looked as if they were heading to the maternity.
Yet, I did not stop. I did not turn to ask if they needed a ride. I still don't know why, because I thought about it. I really did.

I blame it on me just coming home from my appointment with my psychologist and my car being a mess (as per usual). Still, I don't feel comfortable with it.

I am worried. 3 weeks after blood donation and still can't exert myself without extreme fatigue and muscle pain. Red cross now think this is not normal and something else is wrong with me. DH thinks maybe dex is making it worse. I have no idea. I just really hope that it's not CFS.

I usually put that in to show I'm in a crazy mood. This comes in handy when taking a slow drive somewhere or doing something extra exciting like jury duty or waiting on laundry. :p

Yeah... I send it a lot while I'm in lab and either something awesome happens, or I'm really freaking bored. (although bored doesn't necessarily = not busy)... but mine is probably 90% crazy mood and 10% trying to make myself get in a better mood.

Well, if you want to replicate how I found that out, just make sure you completely clean your oven so that it's clean enough for a move-out inspection, and then bake two potatoes. ;)

RF/Question: i think i have some form of synesthesia. but im not sure. when i taste or smell things i sometimes taste or smell colors.

Ex: apparently as a very youngblood, i used to eat corn on the cob all the time as a happy kid. i turned 5 and had to try real corn (the kind you eat as a side), and it tasted awful, but i couldnt describe it with words so i said it 'tasted purple.' i recently had corn on the cob again and it 'tastes yellow' to me. some things that taste so undescribably good, 'taste red' or occassionally 'smell blue'. things that smell bad to me, like salad dressing 'smell brown'.

if that's some form of Synesthesia, then that's my random fact, if not, my RF is i smell and taste colors.
