shysmile 01-22-11, 10:50 AM I used to have very long hair that was so long I could sit on it easily. Then I got it all cut off in 2007 in my most dramatic haircut ever, it was then up to my jaw line. I had my leftover hair donated.
It felt like such a huge difference having it all gone. Especially noticeable when showering, because it used to weigh as much as a brick when soaked!
I've since maintained a more manageable length, but it still grows way too fast and thick...
EshkaronsEngine 01-22-11, 12:11 PM We had sex on the kitchen table once, and it was funner than it should have been.

Tommy Wilhelm 01-22-11, 12:38 PM I never entirely lost the habit of wiping my hands on my clothes (I only do it when no one's there to see. I think).
Microwench 01-22-11, 02:00 PM 1) I have an irrational fear of industrial/warehouse type buildings.
2) I can speak teensy bits of French, German, Spanish and American Sign Language
3)I have a piece of graphite from a pencil permamently stuck in my forehead (fight with a boy in 2nd grade)
Tommy Wilhelm 01-22-11, 02:51 PM Hey, I've got a dark spot in the heel of my palm from the same thing! From a pencil, I mean; I tried to run while it was sticking out of my pocket, and I jambed my hand down onto it. I don't know if it's still in there, or if it just left a stain.
I want to find out what happens when I post 1,000 posts. I could look around at other members, but I haven't noticed numbers so far, and I want it to be a surprise to me. So let's get this over with. This is my 999th post I think.

SPOILER ALERT for Lurve / Vie En Rose: Oh, apparently the title is "ADDvanced Forum Guru", which if I didn't have ADHD I might've noted before.

fletcherface 01-22-11, 09:40 PM Good Luck!!! What kind of dancing? I went to a few of UF's swing dance club get-togethers and it was awesome!
Fact about myself: I've lost 20lbs since last October and a total of 70lbs since last January. :D

Before I read your post, I was thinking about the first time I got my hair cut dramatically (mid-chest length to at most an inch). He cut and styled my hair 3 times, when he brought out the razor I knew we were finally in business...
I was compared to Geri in Strangers With Candy before I saw it. In one of the first episodes that I saw, I laughed/snorted at her line "I have to leave early today to get my vagina scraped." I totally can relate to her weirdness.
Blueranne 01-22-11, 09:44 PM I like to go to country bars but, I like almost all music. Swing dancing sure is a workout!

I didn't "discover" that show until after it was off the air, but her shtick funny as hell. I think I'll look for episodes online.
Blueranne, Have a blast!!!!
I went for a walk with my sister. It was the first time i have been to the country this winter. It was so beautiful, powder snow, blue sky. It makes you forget the cold!

fletcherface 01-23-11, 12:12 AM Fact: I'm angry at Tetris. I want to make a billion excuses as to why I'm not scoring as high as I thought I would (I honestly think the layout/version is not true to the original...)
Another fact: It's so cold outside my fingers are numb from being out there for 10 minutes.
AND: I think shysmile's avatar is the most adorable thing ever.
BUT: The "Tetris Champion" title taunts me.
To my doctor's surprise (and mine) I'm finding that a tiny dose of fluoxetine really helps me keep weight on even though it doesn't influence my appetite / cravings. My thyroid / everything else is normal. I think it's a hormone effect - I'm doing nothing differently. Not sure.
Huh

Do you find that you often have to take a break? I started getting really really depressed and took a 2 day break and now I'm better again? I wounded if this means I should be taking something else or a diff mg?

Yeah...I've been having a lot of problems this time around. I have a thread in the Adderall forum: http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96056
I'm taking a one day break and going to see what happens. This is my first break this time around...I have anxiety issues and stuff as well, but I've been on Adderall off and on for 8 years, so I'm not sure why I'm having problems this time...
Anyway, yeah. I'll be updating what happens in there. :)

It evens out Metz, after working my first job during which we'd go through a gross of pens per week (customers walked off with them), I'm a mindful pen - returner.
About oh a month ago, I was at the local coffee shop and a patron walked up to the cashier and returned a rather nice pen - not one of those dinky disposable ones. The attendant and I exchanged looks and I said "We may have just witnessed history". The barista laughed and comped my coffee :>

LOL...that's funny. If it's a real nice pen and one that isn't an advertisement for the restaurant or where ever it is, I always carry a couple spares on me to exchange it out with one that is not bad but not as nice as that one. Especially if it's a blue pen, I swap out black ink for blue ink all the time.

I am a mindful pen owner, excessively protective. When I worked at a pet food supply store and at Costco, I would notice my pen was not left as the customer was oh... 2-5 feet away. You should have seen the look of surprise, on the absent minded thief's face when I barked. Literally, I don't think I said anything intelligible,
"ERRRRRRRR BARK!!!!!"
But they looked like they took a shat.

Tommy Wilhelm 01-27-11, 12:44 AM I'm having to learn domestic skills the hard way. I never bought pillowcases, and now my pillows look like the shroud of Turin.
metzfanaz 01-27-11, 01:57 AM I love Katy Perry, yea I dig bubble gum pop music.:)
My wife really gets into the dance music, I am more into rock and metal. Lately I've been rediscovering the music I listened to in high school now that I'm on adderall. It has taken the thrash metal and slowed it down to where I hear everything and now understand all the lyrics. Kidna freaky.

The lyrics are freaky or your understanding them is?:p I can really get into any type of music really. I'm even listening to classical music to help me wind down. But Katy Perry and that dark hair and blue eyes is awesome.
metzfanaz 01-27-11, 02:19 AM The lyrics are freaky or your understanding them is?:p
Actually both. With the understanding comes a totally new way to look at it, which has led to me rethinking a couple songs big time.

She is cute, just too clean for my tastes. I like my women a little more on the less plasticy, more real side. :)

shysmile 01-27-11, 02:35 PM I sarcastically asked a magic 8 ball at the store today if the rest of my day was gonna suck, and it said "yes". :p
metzfanaz 01-27-11, 02:38 PM I am still doing all the little BS work I was supposed to do yesterday at work but totally flaked on. After that, playing in Excel for probably a good couple hours, building and exciting forms that people will look at and say "whatever".
Plus I am wearing a t-shirt I bought at Wally World on Tuesday night today. Funniest shirt I've bought in a while, and I am so excited that not only does it fit (because I've lost some weight) but it's nice and long so I won't show my belly if I have to reach over my head.
I live in a very old house that was built in 1789.I love old houses but they are money pits as far as upkeep!

I like to take apart old electronics. Laptops, broken ipods, old cameras, obsolete hard drives, you name it. Don't know why. Its just fun.
