I was on 40 mg of Adderall XR and two days ago, switched back to Concerta 54 mg. I have been very aggitated/irritable since the switch. Could it be from stopping the Adderall?

I wasn't having a problem with this when I was on Concerta before.

Yes, it could be from the Adderall. Give it another day....if you're still feeling agitated, talk to your doc about it!

Agreed/ Adderall can cause aggitation in some people. I'm still on it myself, but when the doc and I decided to try ten milligrams more than I'm on now, "just to see", I became very aggitated and snapped at people for no reason at all.

I would give it a day or so, then place a call to the doc. If the problems are very bothersome, even call the doc now to be on the safe side. Good luck!
