Ipad can't multi-task so it's useless to help ADDers accomplish this.

Actually multi-tasking will be in iOS4 for iPad coming in the fall.

Its a tool, although much more expensive than my first 'computer'.

A netbook/tablet would be more cost efficient and have more software.

A basketball and a day in the park would be more beneficial to autistic children in my opinion, technology makes me scatter brained.

Don't miss the point here, folks!

iPad is an instant ON, I-touch-it-and-it-does-that-thing device with a virtually FLAT learning curve!

This is a computing device which opens up the market way beyond the limits of those who love computers to those who have hated them or are "too young" or "too old"

It's only been on the market for 6 months and iPad already accounts for more of Apple's gross sales than the iPod does!

I think it's awesome, wish we'd had something like that for my autistic granddaughte when she was little.

You do know that not all ADDers are able to multitask, eh? I wish I could, but I can't.
