View Full Version : Daily De-clutter (& clean)..... Thursday, June 24th

Good Morning,

My plan for today is simple. I'm taking the headless chicken approach. In short, I don't know what I'm doing but I'll figure it out along the way. How about you? Make it a great one.

So far the chicken approach is working well. I've even managed to drink a full 16oz of water today and only 1 cup of coffee. Also got breakfast done. Gonna post a "did it" list today:

DID IT (as of 9:20am)

put away some clean dishes
washed part of the dirty dishes, have some soaking in HOT water (the pots and pans are still waiting for their turn)
swept the kitchen floor
cleared and cleaned the kitchen table
cleared and cleaned one kitchen counter
took trash out of the trashcan (there's still room in the bag so I'm using that up before I take it outside)

Anybody with me today or am I on my own? :D

Sure, I'm game.

Did it list:

-Worked in the vegetable garden from 8:00-9:30. Did a lot of weeding, planted 3 new pepper plants that I found on sale (needed to fill in an empty space anyway). Watered beans planted earlier this week and the new pepper plants.

-Watered patio pots

--Ate breakfast

-Unloaded the dishwasher

-Cleaned the downstairs bathroom

To do list:

-Brush the dog

-Vacuum kitchen after brushing the dog (usually do the brushing outside but its too hot today!)

-Give the dog a bath in the upstairs tub

-Clean and "de-hair" the upstairs bathroom!

-Take a shower and go run errands

I am just starting my day!

- I put some clothes in the washer and until I move them to the dryer,
- I am checking on the latest here. After this,
- will go to the kitchen to empty the dishwasher
- clean the pots, I used last night to cook dinner, by hand and put them in dishwasher just to dry
- prepare breakfast for hubby and a bite for me
- make a pot of coffee. Once hubby goes off to work, I will
- enjoy my cup of coffee with some coffee mate + 1 T of "sugar free "Torani" French Vanilla and 2 almond cookies for about 20 mins
- clean the magazines/mail/papers around everywhere
- hang the clothes that have been *resting* (for over 3 days) on the chair :D
- Fold the clothes that are in the dishwasher
- start a new load with all the bathrobes and towels.

By then, the housekeepers will be here and ready to do the rest of the cleaning. I feel great on the days they come, as it forces me to tidy up. :cool:

I love this thread and I consider it a good incentive :)

Me too,

I got up( a big one some days)
put in laundry
ran to the market for bananas and kale
made green smoothie
switch the clothes to the dryer
had my smoothie
checked emails
joined the ADHD forum

next up is to fold the clothes
make lunch
and hmmm I don't know yet.
