Can anyone tell me what PBS is and what ADD meds are available on PBS. I have been prescribed Strattera - the one drug i didn't want - and told its because the drugs i can get on PBS are limited. I'm too scared to take it - i haven't even taken the script to the chemist. I want to know what my rights are re: what drugs i get prescribed.

Not in Australia and don't know what PBS is (here in the States it is the Public Broadcasting Service) but do know about Strattera -- at least my own 8 months on it -- and will happily answer anything you'd like to know.

Probably best to PM me, since I don't get down under all that often! :)

The Australian Government's Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). You can 'google' it to find what medicine is allowed under its program.

Good luck.
