First book I ever bought on Adult ADD. Getting to be pretty dated, though. It talks about what ADD "might be like in the 90's". (LOL)

The title of that book appealed to be before I knew I had ADD, but then I looked at the subject and thought "There's no way I can have something called Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder!" It wasn't until after I was diagnosed that I finally read it and and saw my life story.

This was my first ADD book too. My son's Dr. recommended this book to me (actually she recommended the book tape because she didn't think I'd get through the book). It had me pegged. I had my headphones on and actually jumped up and yelled "ok, I get it!". I got my diagnosis soon after.

This is a GUUUUD BOOOOK!..
It was about my 3rd or 4th book and it really helps, made me feel good at quite a few points when it said especially the line "school is a torture for us"....

Great book but because it was written in 1995 some of the stuff is outdated. I liked Adults with Attention Deficit by Dr. Lynn Weiss...I think that what is was called,

I am currently reading this book, my first since i was diagonsed. My psychologist recommended it to me and it has been of great solice. For the first time in my life, all 38 years of it, i dont believe i am stupid anymore. Wow.

I am new here and newly diagnosed, how do you go about learning or figuring out how to I guess run your life so that you can be organized! I am on meds now, but I still can't seem to get everything together! Like paperwork, schedules, etc, etc. I still feel like I am soooo disorganized, ugh!!!!
