before you go see the Dr. about trying something else if it isn't working?


I have been taking adderall 5mg twice daily for almost 2wks and I still have seen no improvement, even my family hasn't noticed a change!!!

Has your doctor made any adjustments to your dosage? With a low dosage, I suspect not. Adderall is one of those where you should see results pretty much instantly. Call your doc.

I agree ... it's not one of those meds that builds up in your system. If it works, you should notice a difference quickly!

At 5mg per dose I would be surprised if you DID notice a difference.

Communicate with your Doctor. It's very common to start on low dose then slowly move up.
