Just an on/off hobby over the last few years.
Arbitrary stuff, I played with many photos of myself.

these are really professional looking - doesn't look on and off, or hobby-like at all. Wow

Thanks! I don't really do this anymore.. It was something that interested me deeply for a couple of years, but I eventually lost almost all interest in it and all that was leftover was a skill. So that's why I say on/off.

Here are some more, from that period in my life.

Wow, I love the creativity. I just bought Photoshop Elements 9, and am hoping that it allows me to play with photos in a similar fashion. I love to take photos, and it is obvious that you took great ones even before you played around with them. Great work!

I love the pics!!! I have booked myself into a short course in travel and landscape photography and I will be doing a more indepth course in 2012. I plan to buy the camera within the next few months so I can do pet and landscape photos...watch this space people.

Again I love the pics and the girl is very pretty.

When buying a camera remember: it isn't about megapixels and zoom.
More about manual controls (eg- focus) and max. shutterspeed if anything!

Wow. Great stuff here. I really like the HDR photos. Here is a website that I love to keep tabs on. New material is posted daily and there are plenty of inspirational pieces. It also has tutorials.

I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!
