View Full Version : Prose for a Rose

A rose is a flower most think mundane
I think it beautiful
No flower can suggest so much
A spectrum of emotion
I love you pink
The giggles of affection
Tickling my nose
Friendship, never serious
Red petals on my bed
Soft luscious lust under the sheets
I bleed
Not for the first time
Goodbye yellow
The hope of a new rest
Back to sand the body returns
Take with you a golden sunset
Wilt with your flower
Matrimony white flutters over her veil
The pale innocence of the newborn woman
The virgin broken too easily
The end of her sorrow
The beginning of trust
