View Full Version : A Friend for Christmas

Here is a short film I made a couple of years back. At the time I had only just realised that I was ADHD-PI, but the funny thing was that in writing, producing, directing and editing this short, I never actually made a single list at any point along the way. I just had a fairly crazy, jumbled mess of an idea, that I felt would come together in the end.

It was hard explaining to people that I can't concentrate enough to tidy my room or pay some bills, but I can put together a 3 day film shoot, after writing, casting, arranging locations, props, travel, food, equipement and everything else.

Must be the hyperfocus I tell em.

Marc, what an odd yet compelling piece of cinema! I think that's a compliment. It's meant to be.

Very well crafted, acted, shot and edited. Honestly I am a bit mystified by the story, but that's OK by me -- the art I make also mystifies many people.

Quite an accomplishment for 3 days!

And I totally get how you can do this but not recall to pay the bills or tidy up.

Make more movies.
