Do any of you have any suggestions as to how I may tell my son that he will be going back into 1st grade when school starts?I sat him down today and told him that it will be a good thing to go another year so that he may be extra ready for 2nd grade when the time comes for him to go, well the reaction I got was heartbreaking...he started screaming at me!He refuses to believe that it is happening and steadfastly denies that he will be going back into 1st grade.I assured him that he is not bad and that this is only for the better.And now he is really upset..Sorry to ramble like this but you guys have been so helpful in the past..Thanks
