Just "discovered" the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica TV series about a month or two ago. Bought and watched the entire blu-ray set! It's really kicked my drawing into high-gear as I am relearning all of it after decades away from the craft.

It's Colonial Viper time! :D

Did this one in 15mins with no photo reference:

Got a little more serious with this one:http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/4310/viper2a.jpg
All of these were done with pencils, pen, colored pencils, and markers. There is no digital art here.

Moving on from the mark II to the mark VII:

Going for more detail in this next one, and starting to play around with the paint-fill tool in Photoshop:

And my current avatar:

The next one is a very recent inking of a composition I like, but the proportions and perspective left me wanting more.

And finally, a study I did the other day:

Lambda shuttle anyone?

I used to draw lots of SW and ST stuff when I was a kid. The Lambda-class shuttle is still a cool design that is fun to draw. Punched this quickie out in about 45mins (needed to disengage from a full day of algebra studies :D).

Enjoy.

I'm gonna start putting these in my profile and on my deviantart page rather than here. Doesn't seem like too many folks visit the art forums on this site.

I thought we were supposed to be creative, people?! Where's your art, and where's all the critical feedback, shredding both our offerings and our egos to pieces?! :p
