My disabilities (migraine, clinical depression and ADD) have combined to prevent me finding work (where I work for someone else). I've since embraced photography and have had some very nice responses to my work.

I've included some examples below:

Comments and helpful criticism is always welcome.

Nice work, Illiterati - I particularly like the bee.

A l-o-n-g time ago I was an art major - I used to live and breathe it. I recently had the experience of photographing a small stuffed Tigger in various locations where I live - it's something silly we're doing for fun on another internet forum, and Tigger is sent around the world to visit everyone and let us show something about us and where we live (we can get as creative as we want).

It brought back a lot of long lost creativity - mostly what I call "learning to see." I saw my own city (which I'm not real crazy about at times) through new and fresh eyes - and light and dark and color and shape..... Talk about hyperfocus - in the best possible way. It was waking up a whole other side of my brain that's been lying dormant.

Thanks for the good words. :)

One of my more morbid (but favorite) places to go to shoot pics are the local cemeteries here in Los Angeles. My favorite shot so far is from the Angelus Rosedale cemetery.

If you look closely, this monument is over 100 years old, and is still absolutely amazing. From a distance, you'd almost think this was a living, breathing person in abject mourning. Absolutely breathtaking.
