View Full Version : Short Attention Span Theatre
What television shows do you watch? What interests you? Personally, the more action or "energy" a show has, the better!
So that would included:
-> CSI (and CSI Miami)
-> NYPD Blue (I'm still a New Yorker at heart)
-> ER
-> Who's Line is it anyway (a really FUNNY show)
-> JAG (yes, another testosterone drama)
-> The Weather Channel (I have no idea why I watch this...but I do!)
I must admit it I am a reality TV Junkie...lol
Like what? The Survivor Series?
I'm not as into it this season as I have been in the past.
I got hooked on Joe Millionare....
And summer just won't be the same with out the show Big Brother.
But, even I have my standards, the Help I'm a celebrity show is awful...
Yes....I couldnt bring myself to tune into that show, considering what I know about celebs in real life...lol
Oh, I'm gonna add '24' to my list as well. Something about a clock ticking away seems to keep me drawn to this show...lol
Oh my God...24 is intriguing and yet so ridiculous. Just how many times can people get themselves into similar circumstances and question "why is this happening to me?" My husband has to watch it every Tuesday, and I must say, I was hoping last week that the bomb would have gone off...am I bad or what?
I watch very little TV...but when I do, I seem to prefer comedies:
Friends
That 70's Show
Scrubs
Will & Grace
or... How To Shows
Trading Spaces
Home Again
I get enough drama at home and work...I don't need to watch it.
Andi
Oh yeah....I love trading spaces too :D
Recently, I have found myself glued to the news. Not sure how I feel about that.
Lafnalot 03-29-03, 12:52 AM I watch alot fo cartoons, I have to admit. I love nothing more than to giggle innanely over dumb stuff. Cest La Vei.
I Enjoy:

Johnny Bravo
Bugs Bunny ( of course)
Invador Zim ( I want Gir, I must have Gir)

History Channel
Discovery Channel ( any of them depending on the show)
Christopher Lowell ( ha he makes me giggle)
Good eats with Alton Brown

Reality TV is awful, but to each their own Whatever happened to the days of Little House on the Prairie and the Donny and Marie show?
and I dont' have cable since I spend most of my time on line.
and Big, don't fret, I use to be glued to the weather channel as well, especially during hurricane season. I talked to some other people that have TS, and they seem to have the fasination with the weather channel as well.
oooooh...I forgot all about the upcoming hurrican season...man, I'm really gonna have a tough time NOT watching the weather channel...lol
Will & Grace. Anyone else here think Gracey a wee bit hyper and unfocused! She has great comedic timing, but those thoughts of hers........way out there!
redletterruth 04-13-03, 12:21 AM I don't watch tv....I do watch the simpsons with my son (and actually enjoy it but don't tell him). I read to escape....read through all of Jonathan Kellerman and most of John Grisham in the past few months. Prior to that, I was so depressed I couldnt read.
misclee 04-13-03, 12:37 AM Fear Factor!

CSI don't really care for CSI Miami

Crossing Jordan when the other isn't on
The Bachelor
My Wife and Kids
George Lopez
The District sometimes
The Agency
Boomtown unless there's a good movie on
Alias
Big Brother when it was on
I watched Get me outta here I'm a celebrity but mainly for the giggles. Gotta love seeing stars suffer :D
I only get 5 channels at this time too..had to turn satelite off to pay some medical bills.
I usually record shows if I haven't seen them if there is a conflict also.
But if the whole week is one big re-run then I either play video games or I'm online.

I saw a show on dis. once too for MIT students (I think) where they were supplied with gadgets (and strict limitations!) to make into bots that battled on a see-saw contraption that was really cool too!
