You posted a very similar article recently. My comments on that here:

I'm still very curious what y'all think about multi-tasking maybe being OK for ADDers because it stimulates and keeps things from being boring. I have a tough time doing one thing at a time. Even simple stuff like brushing my teeth; I have to go walk around the house & switch off lights & keep busy because the brushing is too boring. So my point is maybe it's not bad for ADDers or is it? They clearly say it's unhealthy and stressful for normals. The other article included one psychologist who said multi-tasking was OK & he was good at it. This article does not.
Also from this article:
"The irony, Grafman says, is that the prefrontal cortex is the part of the human brain that is most damaged as a result of prolonged stress"
This suggests how ADD symptoms can be caused by stress in an otherwise 'normal' person. So it's possible that sort of ADD could be cured by reducing stress... although they make it sound like fairly permanent brain damage. I'm thinking about myself where I was under a lot of stress as a small child so I've always felt the ADD symptoms but maybe it's not locked into my genes... though it's been around so long, maybe not much hope for a cure... but maybe.
I've made a new thread/poll in the general section where people can comment further and maybe it'll get noticed more.: http://www.addforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9569
