I just moved to Brisbane from Sydney and I am hoping to get a referral for a Psych that works with young adults (Iím 25) with add/ anxiety. Please let me know if you know anyone that could be helpful? Also I have found psychiatrists to be so medication focused so possible a psychologist or counsellor could be helpful also?

I have seen other older threads on the forum but I am not sure how relevant they are now.

Thanks for your help
Feel free to PM me.

Go to your local GP and find out what Psychologists/Counsellors etc you can see, or look up the yellow pages there are plenty of specialists in there.

I don't know about Oz, but in the States the school psychologists will often have a list of practitioners to refer parents to. They can give you a good scoop on who to choose.
