Pick a word, or pick a form of a word, that's ugly, goofy sounding or otherwise objectionable. The first is:

censuses

Impromptu_DTour
02-14-11, 07:03 AM
mastication

PixiePlumber
02-14-11, 07:12 AM
Ogle

I had to type this part because Ogle is not only a weird word but is also too short to post alone ^_^

today it's "schedule" (both the noun and the verb)
- can't stick to a schedule in general
- I have to schedule a billion meetings at work. it's so confusing!

Hey, it just occurred to me that there's a really strange, hard to read book that's about something like this; it's called "The Powers of Horror". I haven't read it because the language is very difficult (and there's a good chance it's not true) but I've always meant to.

[C17: from Late Latin, from Latin pudenda the shameful (parts), from pudēre to be ashamed]

My big sister started calling me this when she went off to college in Oklahoma. I was confused, then insulted, then apathetic. And then she stopped.

My least favorite word is schedule, the way some Brits say it: shed-jule. It sounds like you've lost all your teeth, and it makes my spine crawl.

It's a easy word to slur and still understand when you've had too much and want more.

Think about being drunk and asking for, a vodka tonic or scotch on the rocks :p

Think about being drunk and asking for, a vodka tonic or scotch on the rocks :p

When I'm drunk, it's more often from vodka tonics or scotch than beer, so it's easy to just point to it and get another. :p

However, I'm rarely drunk at all these days. Wellbutrin doesn't make me want to drink that much, and it isn't good to combine the two.
