I'm the parent

I am the parent, I am the parent, I am the parent ..... I think, no no wait am I?


Well after my last blog about my son I took his cell phone away, his Itouch, his t.v. And DVD player. I just now returned his iPod only because there is no Internet connection like the itouch.

If he wants to use the computer in his room for reports, making a power point presentation or creating a spread sheet thats fine too. But he has To be in the main room to be on the Internet.

I like this a lot. I have his undivided attention at all times and he has been surprisingly pleasant and cooraperative.

Ok but on my part I can't say my management skills have been of any use to us, mostly because I HAVE NO MANAGMENT SKILLS! Days are never the same from one to the next. Meals are play it by ear. Bed time seems to be a last min thing, like OMG let's go to bed HURRY! Mornings are the same.

We do do homework, talk, play, play a lot, do things like errands, visit with friends, he plays basketball so we do the practice thing and game days. We go to see the SUNS play because you know we are ORNG!
