I just read a neat article on how the University of Waterloo (Canada, represent!) has created 'the most realistic human brain'.

The model is generated by 2.5 million simulated neurons. And LOTS of computing power.

It even struggles to remember more numbers than its working memory can fit...

So... what if we lowered its' working memory to ADHD levels... could we perform tests of our own?

Look at Me

You took a look at me

Scanning from my head to feet

Leaving shame 'neath gaze's greet

My breath retained, our eyes then meet

There is nothing but defeat

It was more than just a look you took from me.

My heart is dying as I see pain
What worst could happen happens again
Beautiful soul mired by endless drain
Of selfish souls, siphon without abstain

That bleeding heart who could care less
Of how much there must sacrifice
To save the soul of another's life

Yet friends around all understand
Some undeserved come open hand
Fairly enough, they get a chance
But twice and thrice 'come endless dance

Whenever I find myself in the right mood and right frame of mind...

I imagine my brain cells re-firing their signals to reinforce that feeling, the wiring...

Through good times and bad, it helps me stay strong, solid. And sometimes pulls me out of slumps when I remember the feeling.
