Our landlady had been insisting for days that she could cut our son's hair for us when he was taking a nap. Considering the mushroom/bowlcut that we'd seen her give her own daughter, we were hesitant to agree.

We'd been trying for weeks to get our hairdresser friend over for some company and her snip-snip, but plans kept falling through.

Well, our landlady finally got her way when she was over yesterday...

I got home from work today to a very cranky baby boy.

Seems he climbed the recliner in his room (a first) and pulled down a box of chocolates and Cadbury mini eggs from the shelving next to it (a 2nd first).

He ate 3 whole pieces of dark chocolate and a couple of the eggs, and by the time I got home, was experiencing the 'crash' that comes after the sugar rush. Doesn't help that he couldn't go down for a nap because of it either.

My son will be 15 months old in a couple days.

He's an adorable little guy, very well-behaved, and it makes my wife and I wonder whether
our next kid (if/when we have one) is going to be a little hellion to compensate .





Something happens to you though, when you read and think lots about ADHD, and you have
a kid, is you start to wonder just what is a sign of ADHD and what isn't....

They say the universe abhors a void.

This I can believe, because the more problems I fix, the more seem to come my way.

Starting a few weeks back...

• I find out in March that the gov't hadn't received my 2010 income tax return. Which was odd because I definitely filed it in August or September last year. (Late, but better than the previous few years that have gone unfiled ).
