Page one!!!
And, I've never bought a mango, and I dont believe I like them very much.
It's the texture.

Re: Come on In If You're Online And Say Anything: Part III

Mangoes sure are a pain to try to consume, but yum! I only eat them by themselves on nice sunny days when I can peel and eat it outside and hose off after it's dripped all down my arms. lol

Otherwise, I like to peel them and squeeze them with my hands into either the food processor or the blender to add to a salsa, to sweeten a pasta sauce, or to complement a frozen smoothie of some sort. To eliminate all that mess, frozen mango chunks work well, too.

I see pictures of folks who've peeled and sliced them into perfect little chunks...but I've never experienced being able to pull that off...not even close. lol

Wondering where I can buy empty gelatin capsules to put the CBD oil into ...
because I cannot stand the taste of it.

Directions say to squirt a few drops under your tongue and hold it there for
30 seconds. No way. Tried it twice and thought I was going to vomit
both times. :(

Wow, I go on vacation and come back to a Part III of this thread having started. At least I can get on the first page of a really long thread!!

My luck is they start a Part IV right after I post this...

There is a Durango in Mexico. And in Colorado of course. Yeah, I don't think
there is one in Montana.

A couple of weeks ago we were tossing around the term schmancy for various reasons. I have some schmancy pics up on my profile from the elegant cruise nights for those interested.

Thank you!! I normally like dressing nice like that. It freaks people out at work when I show up in a shirt and tie. To go full on suit at work would literally give people heart attacks.

You look great in a suit and tie! I wish I could dress up in a suit and tie!
I should SO buy a suit for my next vacation and just wear it around like you did for your cruise.

Also...schmancy Superman socks FTW!

Does just about everyone watch Game of Thrones? Never seen a show with that many people watching/saying they're watching.

It's a work of art. I'm quite behind on the seasons, but this show has everything.

MSN online posted a poll the other day and not that many people reported
watching GOT. I've never seen it myself.

I'm looking forward to a new season of The Big Bang Theory and Gray's Anatomy.
Also the new show showing Sheldon Cooper from TBBT as a child.
And the new doctor show where the doctor is autistic ... The Good Doctor.

My other daughter (my daughter's best friend from high school) and her
dad and her son are heading to Cheyenne, then Aspen, and then ... Durango.
 Hope she sends lots of photos.

This is the trip her mom and dad had been planning, but her mom died suddenly
two weeks ago. So they're taking the trip in her memory. :grouphug:

Game of Thrones is filled with love, treachery, violence, grace, sex, religion, magic, issues of power, lineage, authority, allegiance, will...and there be dragons.

So given who I am, I think it is utterly fantastic.

Cheers,
Ian

Yeah, for some reason I can't get into it. Maybe it's all the clamor for the show that makes it seem like everyone watches it, and if you choose not to, you're some sort of weird-o. Plus, there's already plans for a spinoff.

This show isn't going anywhere anytime soon...

I believe when it was beginning I was selling my place and preparing to move so I just wasn't concentrating on anything. They only have S6 On Demand here. Charter is rotten.

Re: Come on In If You're Online And Say Anything: Part III

Just a piece of new meat in a clean room
The soldiers close in under a yellow moon
All shadows and deliverance
Under a black flag
A hundred years of blood
Crimson

---

Movement
No movement
Just a falling bird
Cold as it hits the bleeding ground
He lived and died...
Catch sight
Cover me with earth
Draped in black
Static
White sound

---

Creatures kissing in the rain
Shapeless in the dark again
In a hanging garden
Change the past
In a hanging garden
Wearing furs and masks...

---

I chose an eternity of this
Like falling angels
The world disappeared
Laughing into the fire
Is it always like this?
Flesh and blood and the first kiss
The first colours
The first kiss

---

Sharp and open
Leave me alone
And sleeping less every night
As the days become heavier and weighted
Waiting
In the cold light
A noise
A scream tears my clothes as the figurines tighten
With spiders inside them
And dust on the lips of a vision of hell
I laughed in the mirror for the first time in a year

---

My head falls backs
And the walls crash down
And the sky
And the impossible
Explode
Held for one moment I remember a song
An impression of sound
Then everything is gone
Forever

---

A shallow grave
A monument to the ruined age
Ice in my eyes
And eyes like ice don't move
Screaming at the moon
Another past time
Your name
Like ice into my heart

---

A hand in my mouth
A life spills into the flowers
We all look so perfect
As we all fall down
In an electric glare
The old man cracks with age
She found his last picture
In the ashes of the fire
An image of the queen
Echoes round the sweating bed
Sour yellow sounds inside my head

---

LOL was in a particularly foul mood so I told her she better brighten up or I'll touch her with my dead fingers and I made motions like I was going to touch her cheeks or try to hold her hands with them and she actually laughed. For a minute.

Nope, not crooked at all, just...so swollen they are like dead. If I made them work they'd crack and bleed. I sure was afraid they'd be deformed and crooked though.

The real doc said it takes a LONG time. Thank God he's not afraid to tell you the truth.

There, they have THADA (Troubles d’HyperActivité avec Déficit de l’Attention)

WooHoo! My granddaughter went for a bike ride with me tonight.
:D The breeze was lovely and cool.

On Monday I bought a used electric wheelchair so I can still go to the mall
or big stores with my family. And to make up for being so lazy (and painfree)
I also bought a 3-wheel adult trike from a swap group that afternoon.

Got all bases covered I think. Unless it rains or snows. :eyebrow:

I thought about my 3 favorite movies today, and I realized that all 3:
  1. are violent
  2. concern themselves with deep relationships
  3. contain strict codes of behavior and responsibility

Thought my friend who was freaking out in her closet with her two cats was close to the tornado that came through early Sunday morning. Turns out it was much closer to me, only about 1/4 of a mile from me (and just over 3 miles from her).

That was quite the wake up call earlier today when they posted the actual tracks of the tornadoes. Of course my dog slept through the entire storm.
