Memories of Ebony

As and when I feel up to it, I'm going to use this thread to post memories of poor sweetpea Ebony.

First memory I want to share:

When Tom (Ebony's boyfriend) was still around, there was one time when a wasp got into the house and Ebony turned tail and ran and hid from the scary wasp monster. Tom positioned himself in front of Ebony and glared at the wasp and growled at it until I whacked it with a newspaper then dumped it outside where Tom and Ebony couldn't get to it. Tom followed me outside, glaring at the wasp the whole time and when he saw where I put it he growled again at it even though it was dead, to warn it away from precious girl Ebony <3

Another memory that I keep thinking about:

One time when Ebony wasn't very well I took her into the vet with Mum, vet sent Ebony home and on the way back to the car (vet had said "sometimes cats act out of character cause they have moods like we do") Mum said to me "where do you want to go" (meaning once we'd dropped Ebony off at home and helped her settle back in, she always took a few minutes to relax after a vet visit) Ebony heard Mum say that to me and meowed the word "hoooooome" out <3

It literally sounded like "hoooooooome", bless her, she was my clever little girl <3

Another memory:

Darling girl Ebony always ran for her life from my singing, every single time I started singing she'd run for cover and she hated the wurzels being played on youtube :o

However, when I played this song for her on youtube, she would visibly relax:
