I wish i could of told some of my teachers this in secondary school, my science teacher did the opposite to all of these and made me always late and increased the issues in class. actually found i should've focused because i realized i love science. went from DE in science for GCSE to A*A with a couple days revision

This post could not be more correct, ADHD is not understood and sadly now that I am college my high school years are starting to make more sense. Not being able to focus on the material because they were going to slow, constantly not being able to find my stuff or overlooking steps in math equations are all common problems in my day to day life. This should go to every single teacher they do not know anything about gifted students.
