Moving...

Hello all,
I was diagnosed with ADHD several years ago and have been on Adderall with good results. I will be moving to Idaho (Boise area). I'm curious if I'll need to be diagnosed again if I've already been diagnosed in another state. Am hoping my meds are proof enough but that's probably wishful thinking. Not looking forward to the whole process of trying to find another doctor. Have any of you been in a similar situation? Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hope

I would imagine getting your chart from your doctor transferred to your new Dr. should be enough?

When we moved here, my husband just got an appointment with a general doctor to write his scripts until he found a pdoc. Most doctors will do this, after seeing your charts, and give you a certain amount of time to find a pdoc.

Ideally a records transfer should suffice but there are alot of d*ck doctors out there.

That's why you should call ahead and make sure they are on board with writing your same scripts for at least a month or 2.
