Concerta and other drugs..?
 

SWIM has was diagnosed not long ago with ADD. He was prescribed Concerta 18mg extended release. SWIM was wondering if it was dangerous to smoke marijuana while on Concerta. SWIM knows that alcohol and Concerta is bad to mix. SWIM smoked marijuana the first day he started taking Concerta because he didn't really think. SWIM felt a increase in heart rate. He was wondering of he can stop taking it for one day and drink/smoke that day? SWIM knows that the doctor will probably increase his dosage. SWIM is 5 foot 9 150 lbs. SWIM found the the high more intense that night. SWIM is wondering what add meds are safe with alcohol/green. SWIM is only 18 and doesn't want to give up partying but can give up drinking. He is really wondering mostly if it's ok to stop for a day and drink and smoke that day.

Not sure of the laws of marajuana where you live, but the U.S. has very few places that have it available medicinally, and it's not legal recreationally anywhere.

Mixing medication with recreational drugs and alcohol is a bad idea. Read the warning labels. Party without. No doctor is going to sign off on this.

I think the question is, why do you put so much emphasis on illegal drugs or alcohol?

I'm allergic to marijuana so I don't know much about it.

Because it's a downer it can make the crash much worse when the stimulant meds wear off.

It also can trigger convulsions or epileptic seizures.

A lot of people who take prescription meds have to give up on alcohol and other party drugs.
