need tips on how to focus more during driving.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for reading my post :)
I am taking my driving exam next month (the 21st of September) and I am very frustrated because yesterday I had a two hour lesson and I have the feeling that I didnt learn much.
The reason: I was really hyper. I really get along with my driving instructor and we talk so much and laugh a lot and it makes it hard to focus on driving.
And it is like that every time. Sigh.

Its really getting my down because I really want to pass my exam!

This is what I am thinking so far:

-Tell my driving instructor not to talk to me anymore and not respond if I do talk

-While driving, think out loud (kinda lame!, but that might help me not think about other stuff).

- maybe medidate before my driving lesson.

Does anyone have any more tips?

Thank you.

Cathy

Hahaha, I read the thread title as "focus more drunk driving" and thought "The hell? I get a post deleted for condoning recreational drug use and he gets to make a thread about that?! D:<"

Pretend your driving instructor is the examiner taking your test... That would make me feel serious.

Take your meds before your driving test.

If you don't take meds, then your favorite music should help. :p
