I could not resist sharing this with the ladies on the forum. It made me LOL and want to cry at the same time. I laugh at myself to cope, as I'm sure most of you do.

About three weeks ago, before my first pdoc appointment, I went to see my gyno for my annual checkup. For some impulsive reason (that I can't recall now of course, other than cost) I decided to switch from the Nuvaring (that I have been on for years) back to the pill.

Started taking the pill according to my calendar as to when I should. Had my pdoc appointment. Been fighting with getting those meds right. I have literally had cramps every day, and my hormones have just seemed off. Too many variables to tell if the Vyvanse is working right.

So I decided to switch back to the Nuvaring. I saw the doc yesterday, told her what was up with cramping and stuff. She said she couldn't figure out why I had switched when the Nuvaring worked so well for me, but if I can afford it, great. 'Script changed. I get a ring, and I went to insert it last night so as to eliminate the pill...It felt doubled up. Weird. I yanked it out, and suddenly had two in my hand.

I obviously forgot to remove the one a few weeks ago when I started the pill. Wow.

That's the kind of stuff that has always had me wondering if I'm "normal" or not. I'm voting for "not", as usual.

Thought you all might get a laugh, and I figured it was a bit....graphic?....to post in the "You Know You Have ADHD When...." thread. :giggle:

Haha. I don't personally experience that (unless it's REALLY extreme). My morbid sense of curiosity made this thread irresistible to read, haha.

Omg, thanks for that. Were it physically possible to spit a peanut butter sandwich out one's nose, I would have totally just done that.

Holy crap I needed that laugh. Trying not to wake anyone up by the inability to stop giggling, and the guys' responses making it worse....geez.

At least there is somewhere where I can share that and not feel like a total a**hole. Thank god for this forum!

It sure made me feel better. Like I said, no where else I can share that people will understand and get a laugh... :)
