I didn't see the shoes outside the door...
 

Well this is awkward. A few days ago, I went to my room to grab something, a jacket I think, and didn't notice the shoes outside the door until afterward. What I saw looked like my roommate and her close guy friend were napping - a little weird, but I didn't think it through until after I left the room. :faint: :doh:

Honestly, I don't care what my roommate does, except that this male friend already has a girlfriend, who happens to be studying abroad this semester, but she will be living in our dorm next semester. It's a small dorm, only 30 people. Also, I was starting to become friends with the girlfriend last semester. She's a sweet person who doesn't deserve to be cheated on.

The awkward part is that I'm not exactly sure what I saw. My roommate and her friend tend to be kind of cuddly in general, but the friend seems to be cuddly with all his good friends. If they were just napping, I don't want to offend her by saying something. However, if it was more than napping, I don't want there to be an all-out boyfriend battle next semester.

Ignore it, it's not your business, you weren't supposed to see it.

Nothing positive will come of this whatever you do, and if you involve yourself now it will likely only make things worse for you in the long run.

Seriously, DO NOT GET INVOLVED.

If/ when there is a boyfriend drama, that also doesn't involve you. Ignore it, and tell her you don't want to be involved, that you kindly kept your mouth shut in the past and you would appreciate it if she would do the same now.

I used to thrive on involving myself in other people's drama, all my involvement ever did was cause me to lose friends.

I was privy to something similar, but it was much worse (they were married) I can't tell you how happy I am that I kept my mouth shut on that one. Whatever's going to happen will happen, with or without you.

I figured that was probably the answer.

Partly I just wanted to say it here, where it is anonymous, so I don't accidentally spill it to the wrong person and cause a tidal wave of unnecessary gossip in the dorm. :rolleyes:

I definitely understand that. Perhaps I would have benefited from teh interweb forumz in college after all... :D
