Non-itchy Red Rash
Hi,
I hope this is the correct place to post this. I apologize if not. I've been taking adderall for about 3 years now, I was taking XR and now I'm on IR tablets. For awhile now, I've had this red, non-itchy, non-raised rash that changes intensity on my inner thighs, chest (especially near the outer area/arm pits) and some on my stomach. At times, the areas, which a small and patchy, but large as a whole, get dry and lighter in color. I have changed soaps for bathing and cleaning and it still persists. I am not in the sun much and do not sweat to often. I'm a very clean person and I usually only take the amount of adderall I am prescribed to take each day, with small breaks from time to time. I've read about rash being a side affect of adderall and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced what I am describing and if so, what did you do to take care of it. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Non-itchy Red Rash
It is really hard to say. But it sounds like a possible heat rash to me. I suggest getting it looked at. But adderall causes excess sweating. If you combine that the rubing of skin on skin/skin on clothing. It might be worth looking into

I get this from barr and teva generic adderall IR. Brand XR Adderall does not cause this for me. |
Re: Non-itchy Red Rash
Try goldbond.
I know on hot humid days, or back when I used to run... It saved my inner thighs. If it is sweat related to the adderall, I think It would help. Baby powder as well, or even corn starch. |
Re: Non-itchy Red Rash
I've gotten this on both arms near my forearms. I think it is due to Addy. It doesn't sound like anyone has any accurate diagnosis of what sort of skin condition it is and what therapeutic alternatives there are.
