Re: Signs you DON'T have ADHD?

Also working memory problems in ADHD are more than just occasionally forgetting things. Sure, everyone forgets stuff sometimes. But I do it to the extent that it can cause major issues in work, home, church, even relationships sometimes. I walk into rooms and forget why I went in there, not just once in a while like most people do, but nearly every day. I walk into someone’s house with several items and I am sure to forget some of them if I don’t keep them all together. I am really as absent minded as many people in their 70’s... but I’m only 36. And I’ve been like this as long as I can remember.

So forgettting things occasionally isn’t ADHD. But forgetting things so often that it makes life difficult is one of the key signs of ADHD.
