Steve, I'm having trouble expressing this thought this morning, but basically
I've seen the media, even Additude magazine which should know better,
tout this idea of the "gifts of ADHD", thereby minimizing or trivializing the
impairments that come with this disorder.

And too many people believe what they read, and don't understand why we
struggle, why we may need accomodations in school or at work, why we
need stimulant meds ... and think we're just lazy or whiners.
