Gratefulness

I am going through turbulent times, as I am dealing with the trauma in my past, letting go of many things, stepping back from many positions, having less energy, confronting the chaos in my life and taking risky steps that take a lot of energy from me, but as time passes, I notice that I am becoming more and more grateful for the good things in my life, and the fact that I have the freedom, stability and support to do this.

I don't know if this will end well, but I do know that I am living a more authentic and brave life now. I see so many beautiful things as I am going through this. It's just beautiful.

My life didn't go as I would have liked it to go, when I went through it, but now I feel it's all ok, the good and the bad have shaped me into who I am now and have led me to this place, which is a good one.

I am not sure that it will end well, but I feel like I am becoming stronger and healthier as I am working through this process. I feel troubled by many things that I have to deal with (or rather, choose to face), but at the same time I feel so grateful and that feeling is only growing.

I keep on going on this path, because I feel like this is right, and I dare to do this, because I know that I have dealt with many things already, and people have had my back.

I don't think that you 'should' feel grateful, I just feel it's a much more helpful and beautiful way to look to your life.

Do you feel gratefulness in your life?
