I didn't say that is wasn't.

The idea that you can "overpower" your ADHD with tools is, however, false.

Tools can help us cope, but they don't get rid of the ADHD. If your disorder is severe enough, you may not even be able to use such tools.

As Barkley says, ADHD is not a skills disorder, it is a performance disorder.
