Teva Barr has left the amphetamine industry?

The other day I heard from a well-informed pdoc that Teva is not producing any of their amphetamine drugs anymore. Can anyone confirm this? I haven't been able to find any info about this on the internet.

If this is true, it's good news or possibly greater news, and it means there's no company for IR dexedrine. I know that GSK makes IR dex in Canada, so maybe they could move their market to the US.

finally , I have the right docs, and the correct dosage, and they're stoping making the dex IR, the ONLY company that does ?????????


I just give up ........I feel fine now, but within a day of two after I run out, ......I will be so far down ing the dumps, that I won't want to go on .....

Hmmm... If true, this would be pretty big news. Yet not even a whisper of cyber static about it on the Internet? I checked myself and there's nothing. The big news on Teva is that it just reached an agreement with some other big pharma outfit that will result in the manufacture of more OTC drugs. All the late breaking news on adderall is from local sources, reporting someone being arrested for faking prescriptions or high school kids getting sent to juvie for dealing adderall (yes, Virginia, there really is a drug enforcement agent out there just dying to catch you selling your adderall prescription).

So rest easy, Salleh. The OP probably just wanted to see if he could get a rise out of us. But I so understand your alarm. I was in exactly your place when they stopped making cylert (pemoline). Cylert worked so well for me! I took it for 3 years and then - wham! Off the market. I went into a two year tail spin before I started on adderall which is still not nearly as helpful as cylert was.

If big pharma messes around any more with our meds, I'll join you on that bridge, Salleh, but the OP is completely groundless. Thank goodness!

I really hope so, now all I have to worry about is that the folks who can't get adderall will switch to dex, and then there'll be a shortage of that......


.......and I bet then some of us will try dexoyn...., but that's really expensive.....


all I know is that the heart has gone out of me today ......I am limp, and I have a huge job to finish with painting this kitchen......and I will not try to live without the meds ...not anymore, I have reached the end of my rope.....I walk a razors edge one 1/2 inch either way, and I will be back to having a life not worth living .....

Comeon guys, Amphetamines are a huge market right now. Teva's not going anywhere. There's a shortage on one of the core manufacture ingredients. That is ALL.

my head says it's a stupid unfounded rumor, but my heart thinks ....OH NO !!! ...and it did a major number on my mood for the last 2 days....even when I was trying to talk myself out of it .....
