"1 drink" = 1 330-350ml beer/cider/cooler = 135 ml wine = 25-30ml 80 proof spirits = 12-15ml 160 proof spirits

I picked ex borderline alcoholic which I suppose is my way of making myself feel better. I was defiantly an alcohol abuser and well on my way to the whole unmanageable bit. I attribute that more to my bipolar than my adhd because during my manias (pre dx ) I thought I could keep drinking away with no regard for what an a** I was being. I was happily trotting down the fu** up road. I stopped drinking altogether to remove the temptation. I tried 12 steps but it didn't do anything for me I just didn't identify.

Thanks for the input.
So that's the two of us in categories 4-8 against 3 in categories 1-3 I'm waiting for the more of the more "definitely" bipolar people like SB, CHel, and Rebelyell to vote.

I currently don't drink at all. I wouldn't say that I had an alcohol problem in the past but I did have a very serious drug problem.
