i dont understand :[ , why concerta is only working sometimes when ritalin

hey,

So I was on ritalin for about 950 days.
Ritalin worked: 946/950 Days

Concerta: -> On it for the last month and a half and it only seems to work rareley.

And when comparing the effects tbh concerta is crap, and im not taking sides here on ritalin because i was really on concertas side but now its just ffs.

Do i have to take concerta for another couple of months for it to work or what?, it only seems to work some times (motivation) and when it does its not that great, its either too good of a feeling in 1 blast or just crap.

Like i just want to know,
Does it take concerta another couple of weeks , months or what?
its the exact same drug as ritalin and ritalin worked perfect

;(

As you correctly noted, Concerta has the same active ingredient (methylphenidate) as Ritalin. The difference is in the release mechanism and speed (and other things, like fillers).

It shouldn't take months to figure out if it works, though it may take some time to titrate the dose to where it needs to be.

If it's not working for your consistently, then maybe this formulation isn't the best one for you. Is going back to regular Ritalin an option?
