Cocaine is so boring and awful

Anyone else feel this way? I tried it once, a long time ago, way before I was diagnosed. I thought it was the stupidest, most boring drug. I don't remember much about it, other than thinking it was pointless. I always wondered what people saw in it. Reading about people self medicating with it was surprising to me, because I never had any desire to try it more than once.

cocaine is realy addictive, what you had probably wasn't very good, what it does do in my experience is make people realy boring and when you take it you realise why because it makes you realy egotistical and smug.

There's a good chance it was poor quality. I think it did make everyone boring, I remember feeling very asocial. But I don't know if I was smug, just irritable. I don't remember experiencing any euphoria at all.

I only tried it a couple times. It made me want to take a nap.

I'm not sure you would experience any euphoria if you have ADD. I imagine cocaine might calm an ADDer. Does calm=boring?

I don't really know if it calmed me exactly. It did seem to speed me up a little, in a weird uneven, agitated way. I just remember wanting to leave everyone else and take a shower. And then maybe an hour later I think I felt very sleepy, but at the time I assumed it was because it had worn off.

When I was younger I would try drugs because I wanted them to do something exciting, like cause visuals and euphoria, but none of them ever seemed that exciting, and I was terrified to try LSD because I had anxiety issues.

I think I had this idea of what drugs were supposed to do, and they never seemed to deliver, except for alcohol.

The only drug that I ever "liked" was Ecstasy. It was calming, in a nice, warm, fuzzy, euphoric way. I only had a good time once, I tried it twice after that and I felt speedy, anxious, and depressed. But very focused! I think the second two times I had very poor quality speed pills with no actual MDMA

After reading what I've written here I wonder if most of my drug experiences were more affected by my anxiety than my ADD.

Coke was awesome. I only tried it once and i had a blast. I never tried it again because i thought i was going to die when my heart started to race and i passed out on the sidewalk, smacking my face onto a hedge. Yeh....not really into it, but the stims i take now are about the same sht.

I got bruxism like a MF and felt like fighting ..not really euphoric though..I do agree with anon...though way below abuse level my tabs are similar chemical derivative to it so it makes sense it didn't really affect me as it would an nt

Interesting that you're on ritalin, I didn't get along with ritalin. I don't remember any bruxism on coke, but I did feel fighty.

Maybe this is why dex works for me and I liked E so much.
Dex does give me just a tiny bit of that warm and fuzzy feeling that E did- The first time I tried E it was like a veil had been lifted- all of my social anxiety was gone and I just felt "better".

I think if I had used MDMA regulary I wouldn't have any teeth left! I also ground my teeth a little bit when I started dex.

I found it boring, too, except for once in a great while. I much preferred the feelings I experienced while doing meth, LSD, shrooms, and marijuana. I was fortunate to never have a "bad trip" that I so often heard of.

I experienced so much anxiety on pot that I figured LSD was a no go.
Of course that didn't stop me from smoking pot; even though it almost always made me nutty and panicky, I still got something from the altered state it put me in. I never tried meth because I couldn't imagine wanting to be "more hyper".

Yeah I'm on concerta and ritalin ir same drug different release mechanism, its not too bad just get a little teeth clenching issue and formication. Though I'm considering my pdocs offer of adderall due to the creepy bug feeling I keep getting on my skin

Nver tried it but Cocaine does make people fornicate and want to have wild sex.

I've tried it a few times, years ago, and I loooooved it. I'm usually so lethargic and spacy, so it felt great to be all zippy and energized. I loved the way it made me feel, and I loved the way my gums felt all numb when I rubbed the leftover bits on them. If I had lots and lots of money and access, it could be a potentially dangerous thing for me!
