how have your tests gone so far?
Well, we're half way through the semester already, I am definately ready for spring break.
So how did everyone's mid-term tests go? Previous tests? Management: Two tests so far, 84% and 86%, can hopefully pull off an A Finance: 80% on the first test but we have assignments that count a lot and are pretty easy, so I can still make an A in here as well, I hope. Economics: One test, made an 89.5%, was an essay test, I hate essay tests with a passion (not sure how the teacher graded down to half-percents). Accounting: Two tests, 90% & 100%. the teacher curves quite a bit, actually made a 107% on the second one with curve, but he only takes up to 100% Communications: One test made a 78%, makes me mad that my intro communication class got me my worst grade so far, I have 187 people in my class and the highest grade was 86%, will probably make a B in the class.

Re: how have your tests gone so far?
I've been doing extremely well this semester. After getting a 3.08 last semester, I've been pulling a 3.8 or 3.9.
My first exam for Biology I got a 200/200 (one of 2 people who aced the test out of 2 lecture classes) - I have a 465.5/463 in the class at the moment. For my PHI 103: Principles of Sound Reason, I got a 15/15 on my first HW, got a 23/25 on my first test, and then I probably got a 100 on my second one (haven't gotten grades for it yet). For my PHI 324: Existential Ethics class, I have a 8/10 on my first quiz, 10/10 on my second, and a 10/10 for the first paper I had to write. I haven't been doing the stupid discussion board posts before class so I gotta catch up big time with all of those (I've done 1 of the like 7 or 8 we were supposed to have done by now) but its a better late than never policy and I can make it up. I'll walk away with a B or B+ in the class I think - if not, I'll drop it before the semester ends. In my CSE 180 class, I have an A in it right now, its an online class, so everything's really easy. Its a computer literacy class, so its all that stupid stuff in Excel. I missed one little 20pt quiz, but there are so many points in the class' end total that its a tiny blip. I have my next exam in Bio coming up this Thursday, I'll probably ace that one as well. Biology is extremely easy for me. After taking a class in high school with my all-time favorite teacher, everything clicked for me. I was in the level 2 class, not the level 1 (advanced) class that I was supposed to be in. So I had a really easy year in it, but we were always cracking jokes, and had a great time. I don't really have mid-terms though, and I'm going back to classes Monday (the 16th - but I'm missing the day because I fly back to Arizona late in the day). Its really weird, I didn't have mid-terms last semester, and I don't really have any mid-terms and finals are optional for a couple of my classes. So we'll see how well I do when May rolls around. |
