Taking Strattera with Vyvanse any one??

Hey all-
I recently went abroad and for various reasons had to change medications. My doctor put me on 80mg Strattera and 2 x 20mg Adderall XR taken in the morning. When I got back to the States, I resumed my normal prescription of 70mg Vyvanse. However, because I had never really had the best results with Vyvanse, I thought I was supposed to take in in conjunction with the Strattera. I've been doing so for about a month and a half, and I have found that I am finally getting extended medication efficacy. However, when I called my doctor to tell him that my 6 month script was coming to an end, he said that I was only supposed to be on Vyvanse. Oops.

My question is this:
Has anyone ever heard of taking Strattera with Vyvanse? I know it is common for patients to get Strattera with Adderall, but what about Vyvanse?

I have never taken strattera with vyvanse. Strattera did not work for me because I ws irritable, fatigued, insomnia, and had extreme headaches. I am now taking 30 mg of vyvanse for one week and two days and feel so much better. I am able to concentrate, alert, focused. I have not noticed any side effects.
