For Parents/Teachers and Reader: Aspergers: Videos on a life of people with Aspergers
Aspergers: Videos of a life of people with Aspergers:
Here are some videos and examples of Aspergers syndrome from youtube. Since Aspergers can be undetected and mis diagnosed for many years (for me it was 20+ years) thats cause it was only known for the last 10 years. So keep an eye out on any strengths your children may have. and heres a really easy way to detect aspergers. Remember in a basic form your child likes doing a activity or something over and over and in most cases will end up excelling and doing quite well for a certain amount of time.(length is not known) could be forever or could be weeks, months, years) Symptoms: Restricted repetitive and stereotyped patterns of behavior, interests, and activities, as manifested by at least one of the following: *encompassing preoccupation with one or more stereotyped and restricted patterns of interest that is abnormal either in intensity or focus *apparently inflexible adherence to specific, nonfunctional routines or rituals *stereotyped and repetitive motor mannerisms (e.g., hand or finger flapping or twisting, or complex whole-body movements) persistent preoccupation with parts of objects hope this information and the videos help you in detecting what syndrome/disorder you or your child may have... Most of the time people with aspergers do very well with small employment, the internet and or odd related activities. My Brother James part 1

Re: For Parents/Teachers and Reader: Aspergers: Videos on a life of people with Asper
There is a series called Ingenious Minds on the Science Channel. It portrays many highly gifted adults who also have Asperger. At first, it is really difficult to determine or see their Asperger traits because their personalities were very different person to person with the same diagnosis. Here are a few links of different eppisodes to give you some perspective
