Re: is it wrong to drag up an old thread from the grave?

I admit I've seen some really interesting discussions in old threads,
but when people bring up an old thread to argue with the OP who
is long gone by now, I don't see the point.

Exactly. I don't know how many times, on this forum and others, where people try to get into an argument with an op who hasn't been posted in years. There's no reason to argue over a several year old post.

I agree completely. But I bet in the majority of cases, the person does not have a clue that the original post is ancient...
