Job interview

I had a job interview yesterday at Panera Bread. It was a group interview, which was interesting. We all had to tell each other what was in, on top of, and on the front of our fridge. Then we had to convince people that they should eat our favourite desert, and finally do something creative with their menu. I got a callback today before they had their final interview session this evening. That was probably the most satisfying thing that has happened to me in a long time. I am absolutely awful at interviews, and this actually seems like a place where I will get along with everybody and will be fun to work. For once I lucked out on something.

It's even down the street from my apartment so I can walk to work. I have never lived less than 15 miles away from my job so this should be nice.

Re: Job interview

I think its outstanding that there is an employer willing to interview in the non traditional sense. It would seem like a great opportunity for someone that struggles with the one on one interviews. CONGRATS! Hook me up with some soup when you start working!

Re: Job interview

They're sort of testing this interview style right now, but they're going to be rolling it out to all their locations, so I might suggest applying at Panera if you're having difficulties finding a job everyone, as it's pretty ADD friendly. They did not ask any interview questions at all, you just had to be yourself, no worries about "what did you like or dislike about your last boss" or any of that awful ********.
